第三部分 第三講 掌握四種并列關系， 并列句變得更容易 第二部分 1．Keep it in mind，and gradually we can gain this good learning habit and benefit from it. 記住它，我們會逐漸掌握這種好的學習習慣，并從中受益。 分析：and為并列連詞，連接前后句子，表示同等關系。 2．Usually，no matter how far away or how busy we are，we will try to come home for the celebration. 通常，不管我們距離多遠或者我們多么忙，我們將會設法回家慶祝。 分析：or連接前后句子表示選擇，為選擇關系的連詞。 3．I began to learn English very hard，which was hard work，but I enjoyed it. 我開始努力學習英語，雖然很辛苦，但我喜歡。 分析：but連接前后句子是表示轉折意義的并列連詞。 4．As we all know，Chinese knots mean reunion，friendliness，warmth，peace and love，so I think they will sell well. 正如我們所知，中國結意味著團聚、友好、溫暖、和平和愛，所以我想它們會賣得好。 分析：so連接前后兩個表示因果關系的句子，意思為“所以，結果”，為因果關系的并列連詞。 5．并列句定義 由并列連詞連接的兩個或兩個以上獨立的句子就是并列句。其句式特點為：句子之間用逗號＋連詞或分號隔開或通過句意來體現。 6．并列連詞的分類： (1)同等關系：常用and，not only...but also..., both...and..., as well as，then，when(就在這時)等。 He is in Class One and I am in Class Two. 他在一班，我在二班。
(2)選擇關系：常用or, otherwise，either...or...，neither...nor等。 Either you follow my instructions or you leave here. 要么你遵從我的指示，要么你離開這兒。 (3)轉折關系：常用but，still，yet，while等。 She thought I was talking about her daughter，while，in fact，I was talking about my daughter. 她認為我在談她女兒，可是，事實上我在談我的女兒。 (4)因果關系：常用so，for，because等。 Peter went to bed early，for he felt very tired. 彼得早早就睡覺了，因為他感到非常疲乏。
7．特別提醒： (1)“祈使句＋and/or(otherwise)＋簡單句”也是并列句的一種，or在此意為“否則”。 Give me one more minute or I won't be able to finish it. 再多給我一分鐘，否則我不能完成它。
(2)not only...but also連接的并列句，當not only置于句首時，其后的句子通常要用部分倒裝的形式。 Not only has she been late three times，but also she has done no work. 她不僅僅遲到了三次，她還沒干一點活。 (3)并列句有時也可不用并列連詞連接，而用分號(；)連接。 The future is bright；the road is tortuous. 前途是光明的，道路是曲折的。 Ⅰ.用適當的連詞填空 1．He doesn't talk much，__________ he thinks a lot. 2．One more week, __________ we will finish the task. 3．Tom had a headache, __________ he didn't go to the party. 4．Li Fang is very busy, __________ she's always helping others with their lessons. 5．Let's turn to Uncle Wang for help，__________ our work can't be finished on time. 答案：1.but 2.and 3.so 4.but 5.for Ⅱ.用適當的并列連詞變換句型 1．If you don't get up now, you'll be late for work. →______________________________________________ 2．He is a poet.
