　　Learning to compete can cultivate ones attitude of optimism. It is well known that competition in society is intense. No company or person can escape failures. Since experiencing many failures in competition with their peers in school, these people have built up enough courage to face up to all difficulties they may encounter in the workplace or in their personal lives. Undoubtedly, a course of competition can help children overcome their fears of getting access to society thus getting well prepared for social life in the future.

　　On the other hand, learning how to co-operate with others can help you become more successful. Some big firms strategy is to win big in the global marketplace where it is increasingly difficult to compete without partners.
