序數詞
1.序數詞的構成
序數詞除了開頭的三個詞(first，second，third)有獨特的形式外，其他都是在基數詞詞尾加-th構成。
基本序數詞的構成:
(1)1st first
2nd second
3rd third
4th fourth
5th fifth
6th sixth
7th seventh
8th eighth
9th ninth
10th tenth
(2)11th eleventh
12th twelfth
13th thirteenth
14th fourteenth
15th fifteenth
16th sixteenth
17th seventeenth

21st twenty-first
22nd twenty-second
23rd twenty-third
24th twenty-fourth
25th twenty-fifth

60th sixtieth

第20、30、40、50、60、70、80、90是將基數詞詞尾-y改為-i加-eth構成。如thirtieth，seventieth。
其他序數詞由以上基本序數詞構成。僅把個位數變成序數詞，十位數不變。如twenty-first，twenty-second，twenty-third，twenty-fourth，twenty-fifth等。
序數詞的縮寫形式是在數字后直接加上序數詞最后兩個字母構成。如1st，2nd，3rd，4th，21st，22nd，34th等。
100以上的序數詞的表示法如下：
第100為100th(讀作one hundredth)，第101為101st(讀作one hundred and first)其他的情況類推。

序數詞在句中可作主語、表語、賓語、定語等。
The second was a tall man.(主語)
第二個人是高個男子。
I am the second to invite you. (表語)
我是第二個邀請你的。
Do you prefer the first or the second?(賓語)
第一個和第二個你更喜歡哪一個呢?
